I'm seeking a producer or an executive producer for my next documentary focusing on environmental conservation. The filming, the second installation of an environmental awareness trilogy, will take place in Puerto Rico and is scheduled to commence next month (May 2015). This being my second documentary, and my first feature length project, I need a little more financial support than what I did for the first installation.
My first documentary, Forever Boogies, was part of the 2015 Official Selection of the Rincón International Film Festival (which was celebrated from April 13 - 19). While the jurors and director of the festival have personally encouraged me to keep on submitting work - therefore assuring me a platform for my films, I would like to honor their encouragement by producing impeccable quality in visuals and audio. Another platform that has been secured for me has been the online magazine The Good Men Project - with their growing YouTube Channel and partnerships with other innovative streaming channels the projects will not be lost. However, with these partnerships, the only guarantee given has been that of allowing my films to be streamed. No financial support comes from them to my projects.
With that said, I'm looking to acquire a person/agency who believes in the power of film in spreading the word on environmental conservation.
A little about the project:
The next documentary will focus on coral reef health and its relation to the livelihood and sustainability of Puerto Rico. Volunteers in the areas of coral reef conservation have already secured their participation. It is a unique project and will have a unique thematic and is meant to be visually stunning. If this is something you're interested in learning about in depth please contact me at LaShawnPagan@gmail.com, for more details.
