Hello, my name is Fynn Orion and I am seeking an independent filmmaker and/or producer to take on a  dramaedy that I wrote called Islands. You can read the script at the link posted below:

Logline: A college professor and a student fall in love and must hide their blooming romance from the souls of New York City until graduation.

Synopsis: Islands is a romantic drama set in 2013 that tells the story of two people, Elijah and Jessica, meeting in a coffee shop and feeling an instant pull, only to find out an hour later they're a college professor and a student that cannot pursue a relationship without risking their careers. As hard as they try not to, the two end up falling head-over-heels for each other  and are forced to hide their relationship from not just their friends and family but the school. Along the way, Elijah learns how to let someone in despite his personality disorder that begs him to keep people at a distance and Jessica learns to accept love and fight against everything her villainous father has taught her.

This story was inspired by romance classics like Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Her, and Submarine. Islands is an emotional, humorous, and heartbreaking story about mental illness, abuse, but most importantly, love, and it's a story most people can enjoy and relate to.
