I grew up on a lake in rural Michigan (dirt road, fields, no stoplights) and have lived in LA for 15 years. Felt like home the second I drove into the city. I've written a horror script, a drama/thriller and three comedies. I skew a little dark in my tastes, but for some reason, comedy comes easiest to me when it comes to writing! Must be my acid tongue. My first script, Green Means Go!, was a semifinalist in the Circus Road screenplay competition. I've studied in the How Movies Work workshop with Cecilia Najar, and with Peter Douglas Russell, a UCLA Instructor of the Year winner for his screenwriting courses.
