Janine is a professional actor and voice talent, born and raised in Miami to a family of Cuban immigrants. Some of her earliest (and favorite memories) consisted of huddling around the television at large family get-togethers and watching films like Terminator 2 or The Sound of Music with everyone in attendance.
She graduated with a BFA in Theatre Performance at Florida International University and has continued scene study and cold read training at Anthony Meindl’s Actor Workshop in Los Angeles, where she works and lives. Dedicated to always keeping her actor’s toolbox sharp, she is also currently enrolled in the VO2GoGo voice-over training program led by David H. Lawrence XVII.
Janine was nominated for “Best Performance by an Actress in a Short Film” at the Cincinnati Film Festival and has narrated 10 audiobooks (and counting!), is the voice of a research and conservation interactive video for the Georgia Aquarium, and has worked with some of the world’s most recognizable brands such as Pernod Ricard, Dow Jones, and Wall Street Journal’s Custom Studios. Being the geek that she is, she is looking forward to the opportunities to voice animation and video game characters.
