The right collaborator will be someone who: – works at the intersection of creative instinct and strategic execution – understands psychological tension as cinematic language – is drawn to high-concept, character-driven international features – can help translate vision into production reality without diluting tone Open to director attachment through producer collaboration. Co-/Associate Producers for "That Jones Boy!

Seeking producers in New York City, New York

"That Jones Boy! Or, the Adventures of a Bastard" is a Musical Comedy of Manners adapted from Henry Fielding's classic novel, "Tom Jones." Both unabashedly romantic and a bawdy satirical romp, the play views late 18th century theatrical conventions through an early 21st century lens. At each performance, a limited number of audience members will be invited to attend in period costume, paying reduced ticket prices for the privilege. The plot follows our footloose and fancy-free hero from his birth and childhood (in the prologue) through his years as a young adult, through lusty entanglements with various women. fights, duels, songs, dances, and a narrow escape from the gallows where he is about to be hanged for a crime he did not commit. At long last he is restored to the arms of his one true love, and the other principal characters are properly paired as the curtain falls.  Running time: 2 hours 40 minutes, excluding intermission. The play requires a large cast of 39 actor-singer-dancers, all of whom perform multiple roles under the Actors' Equity Favored Nations Agreement The "painterly" scenery represents multiple, cinematically rapidly changing locales. Period costumes may be described as a "designer's wet dream." Orchestra: minimum 24 players per requirements of Local 802, parity with cast.  We are planning developmental readings and a workshop for early summer, 2026. A director, choreographer and stage manager are already in place, at least for the early phases of the process. For further details, current draft of the script and musical samples: carver.robertd@gmail.com

TOILET QUEEN’S DAUGHTER

Seeking executives, producers and financiers in Mumbai, India and New Delhi, India

I’m currently seeking a Producer, Director, Executive and Agent for representation for Toilet Queen’s Daughter — a romantic comedy with a sharp emotional core. The project is a completed feature-length screenplay that explores empowerment, family dynamics, and survival in a society caught between tradition and modern ambition. Tagline: “Every Empire Has an Heir.”   Genre: Romantic Comedy / Family / Entrepreneur    Format: Feature Film Length: approx. 123 minutes Toilet Queen ended with all questions answered — but hinted at what comes next. Toilet Queen's Daughter follows Aarohi as she discovers that her teenage daughter, Ariana, is secretly in love with the grandson of Manju — her sworn enemy and the powerful matriarch of the Shah family. As the old war explodes between two empires, the young lovers secretly plan their escape and dream of marriage to avoid the arranged unions their parents are already negotiating with other families — specifically to keep the two apart — caught in a battlefield neither side is willing to lose. Budget & Production Approach: Toilet Queen’s Daughter is designed as a low-budget, production-efficient feature without compromising emotional depth or commercial appeal. The story blends romance, comedy, arranged marriage issues and entrepreneurial spirit while allowing for contained locations and natural product placement, making it both creatively strong and financially practical. Who I’m Looking For:   • Producer – experienced in packaging independent films and securing financing, ideally with connections in Indian or international co-productions.   • Director – passionate about character-driven storytelling with the ability to balance humor, emotion, and socially relevant themes.   • Agent / Representation – to help position the project and expand industry opportunities.   • Creative collaborators who value bold, original stories that resonate both in India and internationally. What’s Ready: • Completed feature-length screenplay (Toilet Queen's Daughter) available upon request • Production notes and structural planning designed for efficient, location-based shooting. If you’re interested in collaborating on a film that combines a unique setting, emotional storytelling, and a strong female-driven narrative, I’d love to connect. All positions will be paid once a producer is secured and financing is in place. Serious collaborators only. Thank you for your time and consideration.

FAME MONSTERS - Short Film Director

Seeking directors in London, England, New York City, New York, Los Angeles, California and 1 more

I'm a producer currently packaging a horror-comedy short and looking to attach a director with strong comedic instincts and a genuine feel for gaming and streaming culture. FAME MONSTERS follows five streamers who are sponsored to play a mysterious medieval game live on air. Each wrong answer eliminates a player. As the rounds progress, the ensemble of deeply online characters have their interpersonal dynamics fall apart — hilariously and horribly — in front of their live audiences. The script is written. The tone sits somewhere between Bodies Bodies Bodies and Deadstream. The comedy comes entirely from the characters: five very specific people whose professional jealousy, ego, and performative personalities are exposed in real time.  This is a screenlife production shot entirely through webcams and game interfaces. No location requirements, you can work remotely. The work is entirely focused on performance, tone, and the visual language of the game itself. The goal is festival submissions to Nightmares Film Festival and Brooklyn Horror Film Festival in October 2026. Funding is secured and the production is designed to move quickly given the format. If this sounds enticing then email anthonyagapov@applesliceproductions.com with your reel & any relevant work.
