I have two completed scripts that have received favorable coverage from the likes of Script Writer Pro, Greenlight and CSM. I am looking to take the next step and find a management team that can take me to the next level.

My name is James Owen, and I am a disabled veteran of the United States Marine Corps and creative writer whose work bridges realism, emotion, and grit. Drawing from years of military experience and a deep understanding of human endurance, my stories explore the moral and psychological weight of duty, trauma, and redemption.

My projects span multiple genres including action/suspense like my 1st spec script Collateral Damage, to war dramas like my 2nd spec script No Greater Duty, to psychological thrillers such as The Echo Chamber (in progress), and dark comedies like War Zone (in progress). Each is grounded in authenticity and human truth. A hallmark of my writing is my ability to blend of cinematic tension with raw, character-driven storytelling, often revealing the quiet humanity that persists even in chaos.
