Looking to for a team of screenwriters for a webisode.

The genre is Sci-Fi, action-thriller with the added element of it being an ensemble-based, live-action, graphic novel. Think of a colorized Sin City meets Star Wars. It's very high concept.

The story concept is already laid out and has a strong foundation on a myth which also has a twist that is purposely being withheld from this advertisement.

I would like to assemble a team of writers to help brain storm specific character constructs whose dramatic and psychological functions are organically intertwined in the story. Then develop these characters into a story structure that will follow each stage of Joseph Campbell's The Hero's Journey. Each episode will take place within the subsequent stage of T.H.J.'s story arc. Therefore, the entire series will contain 12 episode. Each episode will be roughly 7-9 minutes.

Writers should note that females roles will be equally significant as the male roles if not more so.

Interested candidates must meet all these requirements:

• Be a LA local
• Have a relative knowledge, fascination or interest on comparative religion, mythology, comics, and / or sci-fi
• Have a full understanding of the structuring system of The Hero's & Heroine's Journey.
• Work well in a team environment
• Can develop final product under pressure

I am currently accepting writing samples in the form of cover letter or sample scripts (10 pages max). If cover letter only, please express yourself as freely as you wish. No limitations. I want to get a full understanding of your sensibility.

Please note: I just pitched this to Technicolor and they were extremely interested in the concept. Other potential investment opportunities are in the talks as well and looks very promising.
