Experienced Producers for "That Jones Boy!

Seeking producers in New York City, New York

"That Jones Boy! Or, the Adventures of a Bastard" is a Musical Comedy of Manners adapted from Henry Fielding's classic novel, "Tom Jones." Both unabashedly romantic and a bawdy satirical romp, the play views late 18th century theatrical conventions through an early 21st century lens. At each performance, a limited number of audience members will be invited to attend in period costume, paying reduced ticket prices for the privilege. The plot follows our footloose and fancy-free hero from his birth and childhood (in the prologue) through his years as a young adult, through lusty entanglements with various women. fights, duels, songs, dances, and a narrow escape from the gallows where he is about to be hanged for a crime he did not commit. At long last he is restored to the arms of his one true love, and the other principal characters are properly paired as the curtain falls.  Running time: 2 hours 40 minutes, excluding intermission. The play requires a large cast of 37 actor-singer-dancers, all of whom perform multiple roles under the Actors' Equity Favored Nations Agreement The "painterly" scenery represents multiple, cinematically rapidly changing locales. Period costumes may be described as a "designer's wet dream." Orchestra: minimum 24 players per requirements of Local 802, parity with cast.  We are planning developmental readings and a workshop for early 2026. A director, choreographer and stage manager are already in place, at least for the early phases of the process. I’m seeking a Producer and Director for EMIGRANT TO IMMIGRANT — a premium Indian drama series with a powerful emotional and spiritual core. This is a fully developed, creator-led series conceived as a multigenerational epic exploring migration, memory, family, and identity. Blending intimate realism with a subtle futuristic frame, the series moves between Mumbai’s Dharavi slum, Canada, and a speculative future, telling the life story of a man shaped by poverty, loss, love, and resilience. Series Format: 12 episodes × 55 minutes Genres: Drama / Family Saga / Immigrant Story / Multigenerational Epic Tagline: “The past is never lost—it lives on in the stories we dare to tell.” Series Logline In the future, an old man’s memoirs pull him back to his childhood in Mumbai’s Dharavi slum, where poverty, betrayal, and buried secrets forged the survivor he became. Pilot Logline Inspired by true events, an elderly Indian man reflects on his journey from poverty to a new life in Canada—and back home—where love and purpose shape his rise as a celebrated screenwriter. Series Overview Set in 2065, a massive, silent spaceship hovers above a futuristic Asian metropolis. Inside a traditional home surrounded by towering skyscrapers, Kavian (90) sits in meditation. As his thoughts deepen, the story travels back to 2020, when he begins documenting his life and reconnects with his aging father to uncover forgotten truths—starting with a near-death experience in infancy that quietly shaped his destiny.  What unfolds is a deeply emotional journey across decades and continents—moving from Dharavi to Canada, from survival to self-realization, and from memory to meaning. What I’m Looking For Producer Experience in premium drama, series development, or international co-productions Strong packaging, financing, and market sensibility Passion for diaspora, family, and character-driven stories Director Strong emotional intelligence and visual restraint Ability to balance intimacy with scale and time shifts Interest in grounded, human storytelling with cinematic ambition I am looking for collaborators who want to shape, elevate, and package this series for studios, streamers, and international platforms. FOR HIRE: PITCH DECK DESIGNER AVAILABLE!

Seeking directors, screenwriters and producers in Los Angeles, California, London, England, Atlanta, Georgia and 2 more

We specialize in creating killer pitch decks and eye-catching look books that stand out in today’s competitive entertainment landscape. Whether you’re pitching a feature film or a TV series, we’ve got you covered with professional designs that bring your vision to life! Your pitch deck will be ready to go in just 2 weeks. Time to make an impact! ⏰ Most indie filmmakers lose investors before page 3 of their pitch deck. For years, I’ve been helping creators create pitch decks that are visually dynamic and emotionally engaging investor presentations — the kind that actually get taken seriously. A few lessons I’ve learned designing for film & TV projects: • Clarity beats flash — investors want to understand your film fast. • Mood & tone matter — design is part of storytelling. • One solid visual deck can open doors that a script alone can’t. If you’re currently pitching or raising funds and want a pitch deck or a design refresh, email me back or check out https://oldhatdesigns.org/portfolio to see some examples.

Comedy writer to collaborate on Sitcom

Seeking screenwriters in Los Angeles, California

I’m developing a half-hour ensemble sitcom and looking for a comedy writer to collaborate on improving an existing pilot and getting it truly ready for pitching. The show is set in a contained world and lives or dies on character. The comedy comes from personality clashes, old grudges, shifting alliances, and what happens when new people show up and upset a social order that everyone else thought was permanent. The characters are older, not quieter. Adult humor, sex, drugs, and rock & roll are all still very much on the table, sometimes to their own surprise.I have a fully developed pitch deck that has received unusually strong feedback from multiple readers, including people who believe the concept is genuinely distinctive and built to last. The pilot script itself does a good job establishing the world and ensemble, but it needs work — especially around structure, joke sharpness, and making sure each character sounds like themselves and not their neighbors on a good day.Tonally, the show sits in the lineage of Taxi, The Office, All in the Family, and Fawlty Towers: strong performances, escalating conflict, and characters who would absolutely be happier if they were better people — but they aren’t.Ideally, I’m looking for a writer with some real-world traction (produced, optioned, staffed, or otherwise commercially developed work) who understands how projects actually move through development and pitching. I’m also open to emerging writers with great samples and strong instincts.Collaboration / CompensationThis is not a “do a quick punch-up and vanish” situation. I’m looking for a genuine development collaborator. I’m open to structuring this as a partnership, a paid development engagement, or something in between, depending on experience and involvement. Credit, backend, and any upfront compensation would be agreed on before we start arguing about jokes.I’m not posting the logline publicly, but I’m happy to share the premise, deck, and script privately once there’s mutual interest. If this sounds like something you’d enjoy wrestling with, please reach out with a short note and relevant comedy samples.
