John Bolen is a novelist/playwright/actor living in Southern California. John is the Producing Artistic Director of the New Voices Playwrights Theatre & Workshop.

John’s performances in film include Megashark vs. Giant Octopus, Flying Heroes, Lily, Between Us, California Winter, Yellow Brook, The Call of Cthulhu , Heather: A Fairy Tale, Falling, Bet Runner, The Inn Outside the World, Dream Parlor, This is Bill, and The Land. Television credits include Dead Men: The Series, CIA: Masters of Deception, Arrest & Trial, Final Justice, and Courage. As a voice artist, John has recorded over 40 audiobooks.
He has both a novel, Aurelia’s Magic, and a collection of short stories, Nothing for Christmas & Other Holiday Tales, that have been published
