About Kevin

I started producing and directing short films in high school with a borrowed VHS camera way back in 1986. During that time I was also part of the drama department in high school and took on acting roles as well. After high school I was brought on with the Special Effects department on two feature films as an Intern.

From 1993 to 2005 I worked as a PA, grip, camera operator, special effects, editor, producer, director, visual effects and Steadicam operator. I have written, produced and edited numerous commercials for News 9 San Antonio and KENS TV. One of my productions, a commercial for Make-A-Wish Foundation went on to win an award at the Houston Film Festival in 2004.

In 2007 I worked at Rackspace hosting where I developed and built their video department and produced numerous in house videos for internal and external uses. In 2011, after leaving Rackspace I was brought on as a freelance video editor and VFX artist for Spurs Sports and Entertainment for the Spurs and Rampage home games. I freelanced for the rest of the year as an editor and VFX artist for numerous San Antonio based companies.

In January of 2012 I purchased a Steadicam I had been renting and became a full time camera/Steadicam operator. After working on numerous commercials, shorts and features I am now making the transition into producing feature films. I just finished as a producer and camera/Steadicam operator for the family feature film, “The Adventures of Pepper and Paula." Which you can find on NetFlix, iTunes, and Amazon.

Unique traits: I have a slight stutter that escapes every once in a while but it won't hurt you.
