KRISTY SIMMONS is a visual artist, playwright and director whose work has been featured in the Source Theater Festival (2012) as well as numerous galleries in the DC area, the U.S. and abroad. She has had her artwork featured at DCAC (curated by J.M. Mahoney), The American Center for Physics (curated by Sarah Tanguy), and at The National Institutes of Health (curated by Lillian Fitzgerald). Her play "Greg's Anatomy" had a staged reading by Calliope Theater. Her director credits include: "Dire Wolves" (Spooky Action Theater, Workshop); “H Street Housewives” (Capital Fringe Festival); "The Defense" (Kennedy Center Page-to-Stage Festival) and several plays at The National Museum for Women in the Arts (DC SWAN Day, Staged Readings).
