AI-Generated Animation Pilot: "Stewpid" - Looking for Community Thoughts

Hey guys! Been a while but I went ahead and animated my anime pilot that I was asking for reads on. Questions are: What was your initial reaction to the episode? What do you think of the visual style and movement generated by the AI? Did the humor land for you? Based on this rough cut, do you see potential for this series? As a rough cut, I know there's lots to refine. What specific areas do you think need the most work (e.g., pacing, editing, visuals, sound mix)?

I would suggest showing this to non-industry folks and getting their feedback. You will probably get some harsh criticism from trained folks.

Not interested in a technical rundown really, just a reaction to the translation of my script to screen solo. I understand that there are bitter feelings, but OC I've had the worst of it. Just making the best of it for what it's worth! Haha!

I wasn't referring to the technical aspects of the piece, more so the story structure, timing, and directing choices, etc.

Bob Harper Can you give us any tips on how to produce a hit anime show? Creation of anime in America is a whole different can of worms!

Nobody can guarantee that they can produce a hit show. For the best chances of success, you'd need solid word-building, solid writing, and a strong team of artists to execute the vision. Find a way to be unique among the competition. Perhaps consider creating a manga version first, which is easier to produce than an animated series. Use that to build the IP and fan base.
