Animation : Animated TV Show by Julian Junebug Bussells

Animated TV Show

I have a pilot for an animated TV show, but I have no drawing experience or a way to get the show animated. Any ideas?

Raymond Zachariasse

Well yes, you can look for animators. It really depends if it's traditional or 3d. A friend of mine (I have a small company with him) produces nice 3d animations. As for the traditional kind, well it's a long road, but you can start with a storyboard and work from there. I can draw, but every artist has his or her own style I think. So prepare a good proposal.

Thanks! I'm looking for more traditional, like Rick and Morty, I have descriptions of the characters already I just need it put on paper. If your company has any interest that would be great!

Hi, well that is different for sure :) I can do art myself, however I am not a traditional animator. Usually projects like that are done with a big team. I recently saw how Simin's Cat was made. Pretty cool to watch. You have the traditional animator and a lot of people doing the clean-ups.

I would suggest they can be done with a small team (currently working on a project for TV that we produced a trailer for which was done in blender, but models needed to be created and it was not a small task). It was done with a team of 7 people But depending on funds I would suggest doing a trailer first to show what you can do and the concept.

Thanks! If you ever want to give it a try for drawing up some characters that would be great also

The infamous Blender :) Really difficult learning curve. But you can make great things with it.

Nice to meet you, Julian. Once you have a defined audience, it is time to define history and concept, so keep this in mind:

How many minutes in duration should the animation have?

How many and which main characters?

How many villain characters?

How many characters in total and what is the emphasis given to each one? (although in the middle of the production some characters create their own strength and change the script?

What is the universe of characters and their defining characteristics?

What style, climate and background dynamics?

Will the animation be 3d or 2d?

in both cases define with the team which programs to use. Choose the specialty of each artist.

Make a daily schedule of work and actions and follow the guidelines.

Never work without a storyboard.

Remember that your animation should have striking music, understandable and universal character gags. (local culture will not be understood outside of your country).

Good luck and we will keep in touch.Nice to meet you, Julian. Once you have a defined audience, it is time to define history and concept, so keep this in mind:
