Great perspective Linwood Bell!
Pat was an amazing musician and I was lucky enough to see him a few times. He had full command of his instrument and lots to say. He also had an incident where he lost all of his memory. All of it gone. He had to relearn everything. He relearned the guitar by listening to his own recordings. Here's a link to a doc about it. It's worth watching when you have time for a number of reasons.
