Thanks Robin.. do you have a recommendation?
CreateSpace recently emailed me saying they will not take DVDs, only Uploads... Hmm
Also I just used Adobe Encore to make my DVD for CreateSpace (http://www.amazon.com/Ray-Clovis-Evan-Detwiler/dp/B00IWWAEVI) Although as you can see the quality is SD :|
well.. i was trying to upload something.. that's when i ran into the iso thing but there's another site that sounds to amazon and sounds much more user friendly..I'll send in second
check out KINONATION http://kinonation.com/blog/amazon-create-space.html#gsc.tab=0
what do u think of it?
can u make any money with kinonation?
It's a short spoof of Casablanca.. I can send u the link if u want.. it was shown at Cannes Short Film Corner..;)
yeah.. I actually have it with 3 distributors .. one is on PlayFestApps.. which is a really cool thing.. but I've made like pennies, literally.. so u think Createspace is better than Kino? the other distributors is Gonella and Film Marketing Services.. but nothing has resulted in any real money..
Yes, the create space is good
Lyynn - Do you use any special advertising or marketing techniques with the Create Space thing to drive people to your product?
yes, we used social media to share the links in Amazon and Create Space's list link.
has it been decently lucrative?
You can make money off short films if you know where to look! My television network airs short films AND share the ad revenue! email me for more details at Dshanks76@comcast.net
Lynn.. Do you know how to make an ISO for Amazon.. I had an ISO made from the film but doesn't seem to be the right format.. do you have software program that does it? Best, Karen
I have helped develop and directed the first of 'The Original Film Show' which we are launching on the 26th November of this year. We are showcasing independent films from features to shorts so your films can be seen by a lot more people and appreciated more in the film community. If you are interested on getting your film showcased then please email me at: firstname.lastname@example.org and I will get back in contact with you to discuss details. I will say now that there is NO cost involved on your behalf. Furthermore if you're interested in watching UK filmmakers work, look on our website for the up and coming films, news and more info about what we do and the team http://guvnorfilms.com
