Filmmakers and their team may have an interest in a film financing model that does not depend on equity investors, talent, scripts, distribution, etc... and has NO UP-FRONT FEES. This is also a film financing model where the filmmaker and/or investors do not have to surrender control of the creative process or give up equity, or box office/back-end revenues to get their projects funded. Ours is a debt-financing model. You (or an enabling investor) can use the funds for all or part of the project. Use the funds for any aspect of the film… preproduction, production, post production, talent, P&A, distribution, etc. The repayment can be deferred up to 12 months while the project is in production. Start making payments after the project is in distribution/theaters generating revenues. While debt-financing is not a funding solution that fits the business model of every filmmaker and/or their enabling investors, it can be a solution in many situations where traditional equity investment funds are not available or are slow in coming forward. Rather than liquidate stocks, bonds, notes, etc., in their portfolio to fund all or part of a project, filmmakers or enabling investors may prefer to leverage those securities by pledging them as collateral to get funds for the project, without giving up title to those securities.
