My name is Bruce Kalish. I am in the 2nd generation of a three generation television and film writing family. My parents were writers. My mom was V.P. of the WGAw and President of Women In Film. I met my wife I. A tv series I was producing and married her three months later. That was 27 years ago. My 25 year old son is a writer/producer.
I have written in 5 different decades. I have written and produced over 500 episodes of television. I have won numerous awards in both the US and Canada. I also teach screenwriting and production at LMU.
I am not done writing... that said with all my experience, talent and resume I find it difficult to find representation. Get out while you can!
