Introduce Yourself : Hi from Nick up in Canada by Nick Bohle

Hello, Stage 32 family, 

Nick here from Alberta, Canada. I'm super happy to have found this great community and resource. I've already learned so much and been able to up my game considerably. I am a unionized actor with ACTRA Alberta, represented by RJ Talent in Calgary, AB. I am also a producer recognized by the Canadian Media Producers Association as well as an award winning director, sound engineer and composer. Funny enough, I actually have a self-tape for a great spot in a feature film due today at 5pm. I'm always wearing a ton of hats, creatively speaking.

On the daily, I own a production company called HatChap Productions up here in Canada. Our mission is to heal through the power of story - that comes in many shapes and sizes. We write, produce and service short and feature length films, narrative and documentary television, music videos, documentaries, marketing campaigns, community awareness and even some music productions. Recently, our music video production of "Human" by Jodie B earned us "Best Music Video" at the "New York International Film Awards" and the "ONIROS Film Awards." As the writer, producer, editor, colourist, composer, sound designer and cinematographer I am very proud of, not only the execution, but the message of this piece as well.

Currently, I have 1 fully written female driven season of a dark-crime-drama called "Deadly Canvas" up on Stage32 that I've been developing with my co-writer and series creator, Sarah Selnes. We have refined the pilot over a couple years, we're registered with the WGA and required copyrights and are now ready to make some bigger moves with it in the market. I'm really excited to see how this piece develops and look forward to using many resources from Stage32 on that journey forward.
