Five years ago, I stepped into this platform as a writer, but along the way, I’ve come to fully realize who I am as an artist and creator.
So it's time to reintroduce who I've become.
Writing has always been my foundation: ever since I discovered my gift at 7, I haven't stopped. Poems, lyrics, scripts, essays—whatever the medium, words have always been my way of making sense of the world.
My fascination with human nature led me to become a Body Language Analyst, diving deep into the psychology of attachment, conflict, and deception. Analyzing criminals for YouTube crime channels, writing extensive reports, and catching details even detectives missed confirmed my ability to see beneath the surface.
Singing has been another constant: I’ve been allegedly singing since I was 1.5 years old, now a self-trained soprano with a voice made for haunting, powerful vocals. My influences range from Evanescence to Eivør, from Plumb to Tamino, and I’m always looking for projects that push vocal boundaries.
As a poet, I write with fire, unearthing the unspokens and discomfort of the human experience. My poetry podcast Mania’s Muse has reached 11 countries and continues to grow—I’m seeking producers and co-creators to make the listening experience even more immersive.
Screenwriting has shaped how I see storytelling: I grew up on character-driven narratives, drawn to neo-noir, psychological thrillers, and sci-fi. I aim to contribute to shows like The Blacklist, You, Orphan Black, What If, Echoes, 3 Body Problem, and The Fall.
Acting was always there, from early drama lessons to writing characters I eventually found myself embodying. I worked on sets as an extra in Summer ‘20 and recently had my debut as a main cast member in an exciting sitcom project.
Now, I’m looking for co-creators: producers, filmmakers, musicians, and fellow storytellers—to bring raw, bold, and evocative projects to life. If my work resonates with you, let’s create something unforgettable. Looking forward to working together!

Hi, Calice V. Great to meet you. I started writing young too. It was short stories, and I started writing scripts in 12th grade. I bet being a Body Language Analyst helps you develop characters and write stories.

Great to meet you too, Maurice Vaughan -- writing early is invaluable, I don't know if I'd "be" if it wasn't for writing.

Writing had a huge impact on my life too, Calice V. Do you write Musical scripts? I tried to write one way back, but I couldn't figure out how to write lyrics for the songs. You write lyrics. That would come in handy when writing Musicals.

No, I sing but don't write musicals. Although I'd be open to collabing on something like Chicago...

I think that would be fun, Calice V. I'm looking forward to collaborating with you on a project in the future. Either a Musical or another script.

Wow, Calice, what an incredible reintroduction. It’s inspiring to see how your journey has unfolded across so many creative disciplines, and the way you’ve leaned fully into your identity as a multi-hyphenate artist is powerful. From your body language work to your haunting vocals and immersive poetry, it’s clear you bring depth and intention to everything you touch.
I’d love to see you sharing more in the Screenwriting, Acting, and Filmmaking Lounges, so many members would benefit from your insight, and you might just meet those co-creators you’re looking for. Keep creating, keep sharing, and I have no doubt unforgettable projects are ahead for you!
I also recommend reaching out to our Stage 32 Success Team at Success@stage32.com. Let them know more about your projects, creative goals, and the types of collaborators you’re hoping to connect with. They can help guide you toward executives, writers, producers, or creatives here on the platform who align with your vision and can provide valuable feedback or opportunities.
Ashley Renee Smith that's an awesome idea! Just reached out - thank you so much for your support!!! ❤️
