Introduce Yourself : What I'm Up To by Craig Soffer

Hi folks. Glad to have my network growing. I'm currently completing an MFA program and working on an intelligent, low-budget science fiction screenplay. I will probably try to move the screenplay through normal challenges rather than get it made myself, but the next screenwriting project on my slate is one I hope to film with a few friends and possibly some folks from Stage 32. It's a one-location shoot that will take place in upstate New York and centers around an eerie house, an even eerier barn, and the woods and pond nearby. This is a very low-budget project that I'm hoping will make its way into some festivals. Other than that, I'm also a novelist and comic book writer, and I'm getting into to do some all-things-geek kinds of web journalism. I will be at New York Comic Con this October, all four days, so if any of you are also checking out Comic Con, let me know and maybe we can meet in person there.
