I'm currently exploring opportunities to write for film and television. My screenplays have recently placed in the 2016 Nicholl Fellowship and the 2016 ScreenCraft Pilot Launch competition.
In addition, my company has a number of projects in the works and one digital comic book available now.
If you'd like to read my work, or have a project in mind I might be right for, I'd love to hear from you.
Previously, I've worked as a teacher and writing coach. In a past life, I worked in biomedical research administration. I have a BA in Literature and an MFA in writing fiction.
I also lived in Vietnam for a number of years, where I learned the language (I'm fluent, but the longer I'm away, the more it slips), and came home with an incredible family, and the story that was the inspiration for the script that placed in the Nicholl Fellowship. Living in Hanoi and traveling throughout South East Asia while teaching thousands of wonderful students informed my writing to this day.
I am still taking on clients for tutoring, and working with less tech savvy folks (I'm not that good, but I'm easy to talk to and work cheap) on social media and marketing.
Unique traits: I'm honorable and old fashioned. My word is indeed my bond. I'm also helpful to a fault and have a hard time saying 'no.' I love developing, breaking, and writing stories and hope we can collaborate.
