Film producers look for scripts - period.
Just a thought. Have you tried breaking the manuscript down into three parts, narration/telling, action and dialogue? This will help determine what your percentages are. The dialogue being on the heavier side is always a plus. It will also allow you to see where and how things would fit when converted to script form. Which it should be if you want to pitch it anywhere. Unless a Producer finds something in their daily life that they just must make a movie out of, then Mr. Nelson is giving it to you flat. So, have that script ready!
