Financing / Crowdfunding : Stage Musical and Crowdfunding Advice by Chuck DeShazo

Hello everybody, I am Chuck. I wrote a screenplay about the life of St. Francis. The screenplay has 26 songs in it. Due to some advice I have received, I am adapting my screenplay into a stage musical, and have teamed with a professional musician to take the melodies I have written, and turn them into professional compositions. I will be initiating a crowdfunding campaign soon to pay for the music compositions. If anyone has conducted a crowdfunding campaign or been involved with musical movies or stage musicals, I am open to any wisdom you have. I am also open to connecting with anyone who has an interest in Francis of Assisi, musicals, or period piece dramas. Thanks!
