Today's Wish and Creative Tip

Action Cures Fear No matter what genre you are writing, characters that connect with audiences generally do so because we can empathize with the fear they are experiencing… Will s/he love me? Kill me? Will I get the job? Should I reach for her/his hand? Will I get caught? What will they think of me? What if I lose? What if I fail? What if I succeed? Every action taken by your character brings them one step closer to conquering the fear of ‘what if’ and as your story progresses the actions get bolder as the fear dissipates. That increased boldness defines and parallels the arc of your characters and plots – if it does not, you have a flat ‘one-note’ story. Fear not, go boldly forward today… As said, fortune favors the bold.
