I'm a producer, but my writher and I been working very closely to can get our script produce. So, I'm talking with a new studio right now, the goes is for them to let me produce my movie, and then I will let them know I want my writer to work the movie with us. From the writer point of view what would be the transition to work with me the producer on the package, to go work on making the actual movie for studio. I have a clear picture in my head what the requirement are for me as a producer, but for him as a writer, as far as compensation, contract, duties. Thank for anyone guidance, my writer been my right arm through out the entire painful process, so I want to make sure I can repay him moving forward.

Ask the writer what they need. That is my suggestion as the acceptance lies with them.
