In this film segment, I play #16, the protagonist, whose limited playing time doesn't discourage him, rather it fuels him. The content was generated by a semi-pro football team in the Pacific Northwest called the Snohomish Vikings. The Vikings, like the protagonist, face adversity and hard luck. In this segment, which is part of a mockumentary, many of the absurd moments on the gridiron are relived. Between players being gang tackled and being knocked over, smacked around, throwing blocks that don't hit their targets, and passes being missed, this portion of the story gives the sense that there's something paranormal happening, beyond the control of the players. "Gipper, give us a win!!" refers to the fact that these guys need the win more than the Gipper. I am looking to gather more personal footage to tie in, such as face-to-face interviews, sideline footage, with player reactions and conversations as well as locker room speeches, pre-game prep and post-game reactions.
