I shot this footage on October 18, 2010 in Chicago, Illinois. The music is from the score that I wrote in 1998 for the stage play "Machinal" by Sophie Treadwell, with myself on keyboards and Marilyn Park on violin. The object of the footage is Tony Tasset's temporary public sculpture called "Eye," on view through October 31, 2010. You may be further interested to see a short documentary about its creation from the Chicago Tribune, at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0n7RmbeUaZc&hd=1. I applied timelapse during post-production inside an Adobe Premiere Pro CS5 workflow, using Red Giant Software's Looks for color grading and tilt-shifting the original footage shot on a Sony NEX-VG10. I captured the ending's ambient audio on-scene. Because this video streams in 1080p high-definition, you may need to pause for buffering, or to disable high-definition altogether by toggling the HD icon at the bottom-right of the frame.
