About Michael

His directing experience covers 20 years of stage productions and more than a dozen credits for music videos, commercials, and narrative short films since starting Bombshell Studios in 2009. His films have been accepted and won awards in film festivals nationwide (i.e., “Righteous”, “Sacrifice”, “The Long Road”, “Masamune no Kimi”, “FACES”, “No-Good Maxine”, “Elimination). Most recently, the fully independently produced feature length fantasy film "Broken Swords: The Last in Line" received national direct to bluray and Video on Demand distribution at retailers all across the country.

Four years in the military with both the 82nd Airborne and 101st Airborne divisions provided him with strong leadership opportunities and the chance to work with a wide array of people. Michael has also held marketing and web-design positions that have given him an inside look at industries playing a key role in modern movie distribution.

He holds an MFA from the Professional Acting Training Program at Playmaker’s Repertory Company and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a BA in Theatre from the University of Missouri at Columbia.

He lives in Hillsborough with his wonderful wife and business partner in Bombshell Studios.
