SYNOPSIS:

From Mother Goose's nursery rhyme "Hey, diddle, diddle. The cat and the fiddle." we specifically follow the many adventures of the dish and the spoon (Plato and Socrates) to see where they ran off to and why. In this episode (the cartoon's pilot), Plato and Socrates are being chased by the notorious meatball gang. In an attempt to hide from them, they discover a hidden cave which leads them into a world full of bizarre creatures and extraordinary places. Plato and Socrates soon become trapped; unable to leave, and learn that the only way out is by facing the darkness ahead.
