Hey Andrew - interesting take. Well-crafted from a grammar and formatting standpoint...that sounds like a minor compliment, but you'd be surprised (or maybe not) at how many otherwise-good writers detract from the impression their work makes by not bothering to proofread or spellcheck. Clark Kent does come off a little "vanilla" in this, but then, that's how he comes off everywhere else, too. I can see him being a hard character to write, especially compared to Bruce Wayne or pretty much anybody from the Marvel Universe.
