SYNOPSIS:

Synopsis: Where South Park style humor meets live action characters, Jerks is a dark ensemble comedy about the absurdly selfish owners of Brooklyn's worst hostel, "Follow Me". Clarke, Bo, Ben, and Ricky are four friends living out their own bizarre version of the American dream. People rarely stay at the hostel and the guys never feel obligated to stay open (it's just always unlocked) for any reason, selfishly doing as they please. Employment, a steady if low income and large spaced location allows the characters the freedom to go on irresponsible adventures in a consequence free environment. The audience has no idea what absurd and episodic adventure they'll get into every week whether it's creating and seeking investment for the world's first "masturbation hut", going on a hallucinogenic spirit quest after eating Indian food, or starting a boy band called "The V Necks". These characters live and die by their instinctual and primal nature, often competing with one another to get what they want. Jerks is a twelve episode single camera sitcom with standalone episodes and seasonal character arcs. Directorial Spine: To satire the "bro" culture so prevalent in the American male.
