Anthony Calleja's Photo Aloha Friends and Family! Happy Sunday or Monday! Depending on where you are at in the World! :) Hope you all are enjoying your day. I thought I would share another photo from my last visit to Malta. This one I photographed on the very first day of my visit. I was extremely jetlagged after 30 hours of flying and layovers, but I did not want to waist a second sleeping if I could. I caught the very first bus from my hotel in San Julian's to Valletta. I wanted to be first in line at Identity Malta to pick up some family birth and marriage records to start my family history research. I was extremely early, the sun had another 2 hours before rising and it was a very brisk morning so I stopped by one of the concessions in Floriana for a few ricotta cheese pastizzi and a cup of hot tea. I then caught the bust to Identity Malta. Once I picked up the documents I had ordered, I took my camera out from my backpack and began to walk the back streets of Valletta. I noticed that the early morning shadows on the buildings can be displeasing to photograph. This photo is of Victoria Gate in Valletta. is a city gate in Valletta, Malta. It was built by the British in 1885 and was named after Queen Victoria. The gate was designed by the Maltese architect Emanuele Luigi Galizia. #VictoriaGate #Malta #oahuphotographer #EmanueleLuigiGalizia #anthonycallejaphotography www.anthonycalleja.com #2152310067595061041
