Just discovered this terrific site a few weeks ago. I'm an actor in Los Angeles gleefully navigating the challenges of getting a career going a little later in life. I had the honor earlier this year of working with Kelsey Grammer and Martin Lawrence on the FX sitcom Partners (clips on my homepage) and this past week was thrilled to be working on the 20th Century Fox lot for the first time filming an episode of "Weird Loners," a new sitcom for Fox. It had been a while between gigs, so especially grateful. Gosh, I love working! My new motto is to be a hard working actor rather than a struggling actor because I believe "struggle" is a mindset that leads nowhere. I do my best to do something every day for my career -- postcards to producers, CDs, and agents at the moment as well; CD workshops; acting workshops; mental/spiritual work; networking events, etc. One of the things I like best about our profession is the collaborative aspect. On a set, I am in awe of all the amazing specialized talents that come together with the common goal of telling one story. Look forward to meeting some of you on this site and hopefully working with some of you and sharing our journeys as artists, storytellers, and entertainers. Best wishes to all!
