About Holland

HOLLAND MACFALLISTER has delighted audiences on stage, screen, and TV as well as on the World Wide Web. His many appearances on Comedy Central, FX, Adult Swim, Nickelodeon, Disney, and Spike TV include such hit shows as Hannah Montana, Chris Elliott’s Eagleheart, World’s Worst Tenants and most recently Partners with Kelsey Grammer and Martin Lawrence. Film credits include Still Waiting, the award-winning festival circuit short 7 Day Gig, and a memorable dramatic turn opposite Dominic Monaghan in the Sony thriller, The Unknown. Holland made his mark in stand-up as both host and featured comic in clubs throughout Los Angeles and New York including the world famous Comedy Store, Flappers, and Comic Strip Live. On stage, Holland has appeared at the Globe Playhouse and the Masquers Club in Los Angeles, at Equity dinner theatres in California and Colorado, and in summer stock in Bigfork, Montana where he had the pleasure of sharing the spotlight with future TV and film star JK Simmons. A graduate of UCLA (cum laude), Holland has gone on to study poetry with Allen Ginsberg, acting with Diana Castle, music at the Grove School of Music, and improv with the Groundlings. In addition to acting, Holland’s accomplishments include author/composer/lyricist of the romantic musical-comedy Boyfriend for the Holidays which enjoyed a hugely successful run at New York’s Wings Theatre. He also spent several summers at the Cape Cod Melody Tent where he served as Publicity Director hosting press luncheons for such legends as Joan Rivers, Carol Channing, and Zero Mostel. As a songwriter, his comedic song The Surfboard Queen of Idaho was selected to be used as an example in a popular textbook on songwriting. While enjoying success from publicity to stand-up to music, Holland always returns to his first love – acting.
