Hi everyone, just wanted to take advantage of introducing myself. I'm a screenwriter and a still photographer in Bucks County, Pa. which is in the Bermuda Triangle of Philly and NYC, beautiful area. Love to be able to put something together. I have two completed screenplays being shopped around, one is just about ready for the funding stage. what type of genre do you enjoying writing?
I want to say drama, but more like reality. But i do so enjoy the funny twists in life. Justice and morals - how about you Ross, what do you enjoy?
depends on the writer i'm working with -- one i do more drama/true life, another is more action, and the other is comedy/drama...part of my problem is i think i can write in any (or enjoy challenging myself to try) lol....
i know i wanted to say that-it's safe to say - whatever or whomever i'm channelling at the moment and usually there is a song that drives the whole script in my head. For instance, the true life was 'sort of' by ingrid michaelson, then there's ,'god's whisper 'by raury, the one i'm currently on is, shmbala by three dog night - hahaha so funny!
Jane, I am in Bucks County as well. I have written a full feature political drama and just pitched it in LA in August...was amazing experience. Would love to get in touch and network together!!!

Hi Joanne, yes! How did it go?? Love the political platform, so much to use. Maybe we can make a difference. Need to shake people up some. I just finished a feature with politcal overtones as well. It's along the envronmental, agricultrual agenda. I can say it's based on a true story - very global. Soon to be shopped around after I finish with some touch ups. That's awesome you're so close!

Hi Jane, my family is from Bucks County and I don't live far!! It is great to hear that you have 2 scripts completed. Along with my writing partner we have one screenplay along with a TV sit-com almost completed. Have had 2 requests for our screenplay but still waiting to hear back. Interested to hear how your process goes. Keep us posted!
