Happy Thanksgiving! I've been the Director at the Open Center since 1998, and this year we've branched out into film production. It's been a delightful experience so far, and the year ahead looks extremely promising. Fortunately, the difficulties associated with obtaining proper funding have been taken care of, so now I can direct all my energies toward developing new projects. Another member of Stage 32 recommended that I join this site, and what a brilliant suggestion it was! I've already connected with several individuals who live in my location (Sarasota) and certainly hope to meet many others in the near future. To submit a log line, synopsis or script, please email to: OpenCenter@comast.net. Submissions are strictly confidential, and we don't charge any fees for anything.

Happy Thanksgiving, Bob! And welcome to the Site. Best of luck with your upcoming project. What do you think it will be? Feature Film? TV series? Web Series?
Hey Jack - thanks for the welcome! We're actively reviewing screenplays for a feature film with either inspirational, philosophical, or universal spiritual themes. We have a niche market (that we know quite well), and we're finalizing a relationship with a national distributor. If we had a catalogue, it would contain films with themes that are similar to: "Peaceful Warrior," "Kon-Tiki," "The Razor's Edge," "What Dreams May Come," etc. It's not a huge market, but then again, "Ghost" did pretty well :-) After the holiday weekend, let's continue our conversation because I'd really like to learn more about your experiences in LA and the projects you've been involved with.
