Your Stage : NYC Indie Film Festival announces a short script contest and festival prizes! by Dennis Cieri

The 6th New York City Independent Film Festival is eager to embrace fresh ideas and storytelling. It is the celebration of the true independent filmmaker. We seek untold stories and unspoken voices – from horrors to documentaries to adventures to comedies, from great acting to anime. We are looking for films from around the globe that the world must see. If you believe you have that film, we would love to screen it. The 6th Annual NYC Indie Film Festival is excited to announce our first set of prizes for the 2015 Festival with more to come: Best Director 7,500USD rental package provided for Panavision. Best Cinematographer 7,500USD rental package provided for Panavision. We are also starting a short screenplay contest with a fabulous first prize of a 7,500 USD rental package provided by Panavision. The NYC Indie Film Festival will take place in the iconic Times Square district, from October 12th to 18th, and will screen over 200 indie films to about 5,000 attendees. New York, a city that never sleeps, is the perfect home for an event geared toward creating incredible opportunities for independent voices. We want to help you tell your story.
