My name is Paul Endacott, a semi pro musician from Richmond upon Thames and I'd like to tell you about my exciting music heritage project...

I recently founded 'Music Heritage London' to help preserve the legacy of London’s music venues and those legendary artists who found global stardom from their many forgotten stages. My initial project will package and promote Richmond and Twickenham’s immense and unique music heritage and I aim to achieve this by launching a Swinging 60s scheduled Shuttle Bus on 1st Jun 2015. Running 12 hours a day, 7 days a week, this service will provide the local community and visitors alike with a truly memorable public transport experience and I'm looking forward to welcoming you on board! 3 hour Music Heritage Tours will be introduced in Feb 2016 and music events will follow in due course. Dressing an authentic 1960s London Routemaster bus in branding of the era, my hourly scheduled service will run daily between Richmond, Twickenham and Teddington town centres.  Against the backdrop of memorable 60s music, our friendly and engaging conductors (I'll be hiring part time thespians as bus conductors) will welcome passengers on board informing them about the iconic bands that performed in local venues such as Richmond’s Crawdaddy Club and the Eel Pie Island Hotel in Twickenham, home to the legendary Eelpiland (where The Rolling Stones, Rod Stewart, Eric Clapton and The Yardbirds, The Kinks, Manfred Mann, The Who, David Bowie, The Animals, Joe Cocker, Elton John, Deep Purple, Pink Floyd, Genesis and many others began their celebrated careers) and Twickenham Film Studios where The Beatles filmed ‘Help’ and ‘A Hard Day’s Night, plus other seminal recording studios, famous haunts and homes in which many of the music celebrities still live today. All passengers will be offered a FREE Boarding Pass flyer identifying places of interest to explore. Plans to have ‘celebrity guests’ conductors throughout the year (especially during the Rugby World Cup) are also in the pipeline.  For just a little more than existing commuter bus services, this fun, immersive and informative alternative will engage both local commuters and the estimated 4.5 million tourists who visit the borough of Richmond upon Thames annually. And with an estimated 1 million additional National and International visitors to the area for the 2015 Rugby World Cup in September and October 2015, it is a perfect vehicle to showcase our vast music heritage, and a wonderful additional "must-do experience" whilst in the area. My project has already piqued the interest of BBC Radio 2 producer of Sounds of the Sixties and Pick of the Pops and UK national newspapers, which will be running a feature around its proposed launch on 1st June. If you are interested in finding out more, help promote it or apply to become one of our 'engaging' part time conductors, please contact me.....Thanks for your time :) Paul Endacott 07753 617574
