There have been a number of great PSA's over the years, cigarette throat man, this is your brain on drugs to name two. The water PSA's in california are so bad they are insulting -- and feel like they've been done pro bono by big firms or some obscure audio video department deep in Sacramento government. Horrible. Me and a few filmmakers continue to kick around ideas because it is pro bono but when in the playground play with all you got. The PSA should inspire dramatically or humorously the idea around drought, conservation, water waste, california lifestyle. Personally what inspires me might look way outside of the box into a future without much water in this region and what would that look like if this became the sahara? I'm not saying go there...But I am saying, the idea should be gripping and to my mind have a narrative thrust because that would be fun to do...but it would be awesome if we could inspire conservation through some cable rated approach? Putting it out there, our brains continue to churn. If anyone has any interest pitching a PSA my way, fire away --
