Introduce Yourself : Hello by Wesley Tallant

My name is Wesley Tallant. I am a retired Fire Fighter of the Paris, Texas Fire Department (and it's great to be paid not to work). I started writing novels my last year with the department, The first being "Jake Hardy." It is a story of a mountain man in 1838 that finds he is dying from cancer and sets out on a journey to find the perfect valley for his final resting place. Then came two stories about "Jake Hardy Barnes," the son Jake's best friend named in his honor. Next was "Whip Dodge; Man Hunter," a bounty hunter called upon by an Idaho town marshal to bring in some killers. My book, "The Yellow Rose" is what I am working on now to convert to a screen play. It's about a rancher's wife that is kidnapped in 1886 San Antonio, Texas. This is my first feature attempt and am being tutored by Aaron Majewski. So far, he likes it, although it will need some editing. So, wish me luck and maybe I'll see you at the Oscars.
