Anything Goes : The last knights by Stefan Klinge

The last knights

That could have been an enormous kind of an epic tale. But it was crippled to a bunch of different plots that wasn't thought to an end. The characters were introduced well, but then they were lost in a scrub of endless ideas that had not any chance to develop. Let me only tell one example. The chinese bodyguard of the evil minister. You can see that he is torned between his duty to his master and his honor as warrior, as he saw what happend to Raiden. Furthermore he felt dishonored to serve such a person. This could have been a really good story in the story. The showdown was cheap and way too fast, that could have been more intense... not in terms of violence , but in terms of depth and psychology... he could Raiden let win so that he kept his face but made it possible to get rid of the minister. A very, very veeeery long time we see the main person struggling, drinking etc. This could have been told faster and more intense. At the very end the film came down to a mix of "Game of Thrones" and "The Expendables". Im curious what you think about it Best regards Stefan
