Your Stage : "UNSUNG: The Forgotten" by Michael Olsen

Fellow members, I have written and directing my first feature film. The trailer is scheduled to be filmed on October 10 & 11 2015. We are scheduled to start filming on November 2, 2015. I have a budget of $75,000 that I am attempting to meet. I am always looking for Investors for this film. We have a full cast of 25 actors and actresses that were selected after auditions were held. Synopsis: In "UNSUNG: The Forgotten" the viewer is presented with the daily challenges that are faced by a military family. A realistic portrayal is offered of the emotional and physical strains that are placed on a military spouse and her two daughters when the husband/father character is deployed... and then returns after losing part of his right leg due to a mortar attack. Based on the real life experiences of Army veteran and Writer/Director Michael Olsen, as well as true stories from military families the audience will experience the same emotional roller coaster, feel the physical demands and share the same tears that are shed when a Soldier deploys and comes back physically and mentally changed. "UNSUNG: The Forgotten" is a film that will have the audience walking away feeling as if they just experienced the rigors of a deployment, and the life-changing duty of caring for a selfless American hero. The film is produced by and stars actual combat veterans, including two "Wounded Warrior," who are also an amputies. Due for a 2016 release.
