I'm happy to say we are now OPENING UP the call for Writemash script consultants! As you may have seen on my posts and profile here, I'm an ex-BBC producer now building a script development platform over at Writemash.com. Writemash is essentially a writing development marketplace that enables vetted script professionals to offer consultancy services to serious-minded writers. Right now, we're pre-launch and I'm putting the call out to professionals to list their services, ready for when we go live. The services you could offer as a professional are entirely up to you. They could be everything from a short, sharp focus on one aspect of a script to a focused read & report to full notes to ongoing coaching. Whatever you want to offer. And, of course, you can set your own rates too. How it works: As its focus is on rewrites and improvements, writers can browse the marketplace of sellers and development services and purchase those they are interested in. They make their payment, upload their material and this is forwarded to the seller. As a seller, you return the results of the completed service (e.g. a script report) back to Writemash and then payment for all your completed work is released at the end of the month. You receive payment electronically minus a 15% commission on each sale which goes to Writemash to support marketing, bringing you new buyers and generally keeping things running. This commission can be reduced in the future too. Listing your services If you’re interested in being included, all you need do is visit Writemash.com, follow the links for Development Professionals and apply to list a script development service - which we'll then feature on the site ready for when we launch. Then, as launch approaches, I'll give you access to the your own dashboard so you can edit your bio, and add or edit edit / add more services there. And that's it!
