I am seeking a 2005 version of Final Cut. Here is why....

I am working on the American cut of Invictus Films "The Judas Kiss." It was originally cut in 2005, shown in Europe, and won some acclaim. The story is powerful & still relevant for today. The Writer/Director, Alexander Emmert, now wants to add in "lost scenes" and "trim out fat", & fix some special effects shots. The original was cut with Final Cut and the editor did not have any of the music files in a timeless file format. I've tried having them open with a newer version of FC, & no go. The rough cut of the film is what I have to work with because there is no music added except for the end song. Unfortunately, it has suffered some digital hits and will have to be re-made. The music that carries the film can only be heard in the final cut. I can't strip it out, that I know of. I'm a mid level editor working with Premiere now. There is no budget for this project, I'm working in hopes the film fests and distribution pay out, and I believe they will. Need some help reclaiming the music of this powerful film. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1432114/?ref_=nm_knf_i3
