I'm a Christian author and screenwriter of family-friendly fiction, writing within several different genres including science-fiction, fantasy, and apocalyptic thrillers. I'm just wrapping up my latest novel, a Romance/Suspense/Adventure novel tentatively entitled A Walk through the Garden of God. Below is my email and a couple of links if you ever want to contact me. My "About" tab on my Stage 32 profile has a summary about each of my works, if you'd ever like to stop by and say hello. Have a great weekend! Jeff - we love having you in the Stage 32 community! Congratulations on all your novels...your work is impressive and inspiring to other authors here on Stage 32. I can only imagine the lessons you've learned along the way in your professional career :)
Thank you, Julie!
Hi Jeff, nice to meet you.
Sounds like you'll have a lot of fun with your writing--all my favorite genres.
Hi Bruce. It's nice to meet you as well. Welcome to Stage 32!
Hi Jeff, it's nice to meet you as well! Yeah, I certainly do enjoy these genres. I'm looking forward to getting my latest novel out to see how it does. I've adapted one of my novels, Cyberspace to a screenplay, and I'm also planning to adapt my other novels as well. Exciting times!
How did the adaptation go? I've gone the other direction: Mouth of the Lion started as a one-act play, morphed into a screenplay, then finally got turned into a novel--not as easy as you might think. I've been told that novels are the easiest path to selling a screenplay concept.

Jeff, it takes time, significantly longer than writing a screenplay from scratch. I've had some interest but I haven't sold it yet. Hi Toni! Welcome to Stage 32!
thanks- interested in meeting like minded individuals and building a stronger network !
Toni-Definitely a great place to do that. Never know when an opportunity Have you come across any opportunities yet to ply your trade?

Adaptation definitely takes "longer than writing a screenplay." A famous director once said, "Never do adaptations."
Welcome Jeff! Great to meet you :) Glad to see I'm not alone
