Just checking back in, I'm still on Cape Cod but family obligations have changed and I'm ready, finally, to dive back into the fray of this crazy business of production. Just did a great live event in Orlando for Amway, unfortunately had to sign an NDA so no pix. Looking to network with all the great production folks in the Boston area and beyond.
Oh man... those pesky NDA's always get in a way of my viewing pleasures... :D Hi Marci, good to have you here.
Thanks and here's a hint....if you check out PhoenixFireDancers.com you can have a peek at a bit of the action from another performance they gave. Look for the Pyro and the UV/Laser clips, and that was just a part of the show!
Hi Marci, Nice to meet you.
Oh man, that looks really cool. It's weird though - the page wouldn't load without www in front of the domain... http://www.phoenixfiredancers.com/
Might it be because they are in Europe, well I think the UK actually, not sure, the performers were from all over the world. Glad you liked it though.....obviously I didn't do the specialty costumes, of course they had to be fire retardant. I did the costumes for a story that wrapped around all the specialty acts. It was like being in the middle of Cirque de Soleil. But it was the kick I needed to get back in the game.
Nice. It must have been pretty busy out there. Were you part of the larger team with this? It's crazy that we never think about how much effort goes into events like that outside of the talent.
