Script reading turnaround.

Thanks to a friend, I was lucky enough to get my 3 spec scripts in the hands of a household name Hollywood producer. I believe he already read two thus far. My friend whom is very close friends with him told me he said I have good writing skills and will see what he can do with them. He is about to read and consider my third one which I'm sure has the most promise of the three. Last week his assistant said she he will read it and she will keep me posted. What is the typical turnaround time for a producer of this stature to let me know whether he can do something with it?

Anthony Moore

First, congratulations. This is further than most of us reach. I've read on various sites that 3-4 weeks is common but you should send a short friendly reminder if it goes past 6 weeks.

Thank you so much Anthony! If it was up to me, I'd be messaging his assistant reminding them 3 times a day. I'm so anxious. This is surreal and exciting. It's hard to concentrate on my day job. Seriously. Lol
