Hi friends, The second in a series of monthly Screenings and Screenwriting Discussions will be taking place next Sunday, Feb. 28 at 10 AM at the Balboa Theatre in San Francisco. This month's screening is in honor of Black History Month and we will be showing the 1961 film version of Lorraine Hansberry's, A Raisin in the Sun with Sidney Poitier. This is a one-time showing opportunity to see one of the greatest, pure cinematic film achievements of all time. Following the screening, I will lead a lively discussion about the structure of the film and its turning points. If you haven't seen this version of A Raisin in the Sun and/or are interested in how a play is structured into a film, you don't want to miss this event. Cost is $25 at the door, no preregistration is necessary. The Balboa Theatre is located at 3630 Balboa Street in San Francisco. Please tell you friends and check out the Sunday Screening and Screenwriting page on Facebook! Hope to see you there.
