Acting : Scripting Intimacy by Andrea Ruschin

Hey folks, Having had a particularly bad experience with on-stage nudity and miscommunication with a director, I value a workshop like this which promotes intimate touching and engagement choreography. If every other aspect of acting is to be rehearsed, shouldn't this apply as well? Do you think it would remove the spark or the fire from the end result, or manifest it since both actors are comfortable with what's happening?
