While the #FrenchOpen are stopped by an upcoming thunderstorm I found something that might be interesting for all fellow screenwriters. The pros get an reminder and the beginners can learn how to get on the point. Happy writing and all the best for all your projects! #love https://screencraft.org/2015/12/16/screenwriting-less-is-more/

Great article - thanks for sharing. I face this challenge with every new screenplay. Action sequences seem to come the easiest - car chases, gun fights, etc. - but effectively conveying an internal thought through action - what a character does versus what they say - always gets muddy and over-written. Chopping down is the most difficult part of this process. Yeesh.
Thank you all, glad you like it. Additionally, I would say it should be to the point and leave space for the director's and producer's creativity. Imagine you describe a certain place and they had to find the right location for filming. Same when you describe certain clothes, looks and special items. Then, of course and most important is to leave space for the actor's creativity. They actually just need the words and an idea of the mood of the scene to slip into the character's role and become that person. Have fun writing!
